Welcome

The aim of the Probus Club of Worksop is to provide retired or no longer working full time chaps with the opportunity to get together for a chat and a coffee followed by a presentation by an invited speaker. Our meetings are informal, and our speakers entertain us with a varied programme of interesting topics.

The club now has a membership of about 30.  We resume meetings on 6th September 2025 at St John’s Parish Centre, Carlton in Lindrick. Members meet on alternate Fridays at 10:00 for 10:30 and finish at 12:00.  Members are encouraged to invite guests and prospective new members.

We meet for lunch with partners at in the autumn and spring, and have a Christmas lunch.

In the winter, we have one or two day or half day visits to places of interest chosen by our members, with a longer outing in the Summer.

Our Club meetings are a rendezvous for a coffee and a get together.  Time for sociability and an opportunity to keep minds active and make new friends.

So why not come along and check us out?

New members are welcome – please contact Chris Stanton on 01709 818927 or email cdstanton@hotmail.com
